So...after playing around with the idea for about 18 months, I decided to step out on faith and start my business. It's called The Tasty Waffle Company, and we make Belgium-inspired liege waffles. I fell in love with these waffles while on a trip to Amsterdam with one of my good friends. We toured the city in one day while feasting on liege waffles (among other things). I desperately wanted to bring this treat to NYC to share with my family and friends...The Tasty Waffle Company is my chance! Consequently, I am sitting in the Starbucks on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn while I wait for my daughter to finish up in her dance class. And I've created a business plan to push me forward. I can't believe I'm doing this...time to slay!
